Experience ~ Embody ~ Guide
BECOME A SOMATIC THERAPIST
Train in an integrative approach that explores how the body shapes perception, behaviour, and resilience.
Body All Mind brings together somatics, yoga, nervous system science, contemplative practice, and relational learning into one cohesive field of study. Both ancient traditions and contemporary research point to the same understanding: the body is central to how we experience and respond to the world.
Working with body and mind as one living system, this training supports meaningful and lasting change.
Two Paths One Program
Year One
Somatic Yoga Teacher Training
Year One runs from September to June, with weekly online sessions on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 EST.
If you are already a yoga teacher, this is an opportunity to deepen your practice through a somatic lens. If you are new to yoga, you’ll learn from the ground up with an embodied approach.
By the end of the year, you will have completed a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training accredited by Yoga Professionals UK.
These hours contribute toward the full two year pathway, leading to a 500 hour Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator certification with International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association.
July and August offer a natural pause for integration, including the design and delivery of your practicum.
Year Two
Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator
Year Two runs from September to June, with weekly online sessions on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 EST, along with a 90 minute integration class every other Thursday from 2:00 to 3:30 EST.
You are asked to attend at least 50% of the live sessions. All classes are recorded, allowing you to complete the remaining hours at your own pace.
At the end of the year, we gather for an in person retreat, most likely in Spain, where the work is integrated through immersive practice.
This year focuses on one to one clinical somatic work, supporting you to develop the clarity, presence, and responsiveness needed to work skillfully with clients.
WHO’S THIS COURSE FOR?
Understanding how the body shapes perception and resilience is essential for anyone working in healing and care.
Behaviour is not driven by thought alone. It reflects an ongoing relationship between our capacity to reason and the body’s drive to survive. This program reframes the idea of mind, moving away from exerting control over the body and toward listening to the intelligence of the body.
There is a growing shift in how trauma is understood. Top down approaches remain valuable, and they are not complete. We are not just thinking beings. We are living systems, shaped by processes that prioritize safety, often beneath conscious awareness.
To work with the mind, we work with the whole system. The brain does not simply direct the body. It is in constant dialogue with it. What is communicated by the body drives what we think and do.
In Body All Mind, you’ll learn to work with what Gabor Maté describes as the Super System: Psycho Neuro Immune Endocrine (PNIE). Here, cognition and conditioned responses come together to form what we experience as mind.
When we include the whole system, new pathways for connection, regulation, and integrated living begin to open.

Talk therapy is evolving to include the body in the process of healing. If you’re searching for a way to bring somatic practices, mindfulness and accessible yoga into your clinic, then look no further.
Weaving nervous system regulation, applied neurology, breath work and other movement based techniques into your well established therapeutic framework, completes the process. You’re now working with the whole person - the thinking mind and the reactive mind. Successful lasting change is more likely when we address the whole self.
-
Yoga is a somatic practice and is therapeutic in nature. If you’ve been guiding people and would like to work more deeply, to help people connect, integrate and heal, then becoming a somatic therapist is a logical evolution.
Your understanding of wholistic healing and your experience facilitating embodied movement has prepared you to hold space for the most vulnerable hearts seeking to be seen and heard.
The system of yoga is both a top-down and a bottom-up approach. You’ll be expanding into the contemporary clinical somatic space.
Bonus! At the end of your first year you collect 300 Hours of YTT if you’re with Yoga Pros - UK

Healing people through touch therapy is somatic and therapeutic work.
Often people release and share in sessions in a way that they did not expect. This is because you can not work with the body and avoid the mind - impossible. They are one and they same.
Prepare yourself to navigate mental and emotional shifts with easy to integrate somatic exercises.
-
Individuals interested in embodiment as a path of personal development are more than welcome in this program. A significant component of this experience focuses on personal practice. Heal your own heart and you’ll be able to help many.
As you learn and grow you may surprise yourself. It’s not uncommon with new insights and renewed confidence to want to share this wisdom with others.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A SOMATIC THERAPIST?
Life today offers fewer opportunities for natural co-regulation, and this shapes our ability to self-regulate. The two develop together, influenced by how we connect and by the systems we live within.
Many of our institutions are built on models of control, logic, and correction. While these have their place, they often overlook something essential—the human being as a living, adaptive organism. Our physiology is always responding to the environment. This is the nature of evolution, not only across generations, but within a single lifetime.
When these adaptive patterns become held in the body, they shape how we feel, perceive, and respond. After overwhelming or life-threatening experiences, it is common to disconnect from the body. Over time, this deepens a wider sense of disconnection from ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
Somatics offers a way back.
A return to the intelligence of the body, where regulation, connection, and a more natural sense of harmony can begin to emerge.
-
Somatic Therapy is safely and effectively delivered both online and in-person.
This hybrid environment is relational, flexible, practical, convenient, time-efficient, accessible, global, inclusive and client-centred.
-

-
Helping people connect to their bodies in way that helps them to improve their health, make better decisions, harmonize relationships, integrate the past and brighten their future, is rewarding and beautiful.
With each interaction you’ll be mesmerized by the human spirit and it’s potential to shine even after life’s most challenging moments.
Guiding people to know their body as a source of trusted wisdom opens up new avenues for growth and expansion for both you and your clients.

The option to work online and from home creates a lot of space in your life to ensure a balanced approach to your own health and wellbeing.
Self care, time with family, friends and all the other things you do to bring joy to your life, are easy to attend to when you structure your work in this way.
Hi, I’m Angela, founder and lead trainer at Nousoma Life.
Since 2000, I’ve been guiding people into a more embodied way of living. Over 26 years of teaching in Canada and around the world, one truth has remained steady: healing unfolds from within.
Wisdom can’t be imposed. Real and lasting change emerges when we learn to meet the body with care, attention, and respect. When we feel seen and heard in a genuine way, something begins to shift. From there, change becomes possible.
Body All Mind is the expression of my life’s work. It reflects a deep commitment to helping people reconnect with meaning, purpose, and a sense of aliveness.
In this program, you’ll learn how to be with your experience in a way that builds capacity. What once felt overwhelming can become workable. Fear can inform, anger can mobilize, grief can soften into love, and worry can settle into a quieter presence.
Energy is malleable. With the right support and understanding, we can return to a more steady, connected way of being.
