Grievance Procedures
Body All Mind is committed to providing a respectful, ethical, and supportive learning environment. Students who have concerns regarding faculty, fellow students, program policies, assessment procedures, discrimination, harassment, or other aspects of the training are encouraged to communicate those concerns through the following process.
Step 1: Informal Resolution
Whenever appropriate, students are encouraged to address concerns directly with the individual involved. Many misunderstandings can be resolved through open and respectful communication.
Step 2: Written Grievance
If the concern cannot be resolved informally, or if the student is not comfortable addressing the matter directly, a written grievance may be submitted to the Program Director. The grievance should include:
A description of the concern or incident
The date(s) involved
Any steps already taken to resolve the matter
The outcome being requested
Written grievances may be submitted by email to: hello@nousomalife.com
Step 3: Review Process
The Program Director will acknowledge receipt of the grievance within seven business days and will review all relevant information. Additional information may be requested from the parties involved.
Step 4: Resolution
A written response outlining any findings and proposed actions will generally be provided within thirty days of receiving the grievance. When appropriate, mediation, corrective action, policy clarification, or referral to another authority may be recommended.
Appeals
If a student believes the grievance has not been addressed appropriately, they may submit a written appeal within fourteen days of the decision. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent advisor or qualified professional not directly involved in the original grievance whenever possible.
Confidentiality
All grievances will be handled with as much confidentiality as possible while allowing for a fair review of the concerns raised.
Non-Retaliation
Students may raise concerns in good faith without fear of retaliation or adverse treatment.
